Oh! I'll see it coming another election about gay marriage, abortion, military service, hair cuts,.. |
|
Let's dump in the trash other issues like the economy, education, health care, global warming, poverty.......

It is all they have. Up to us to be on the offensive this time and not let them ignore the real issues.

Unless the voting machines truly are rigged it won't happen a third time. People are pissed. The economy is in the gutters and the war on commons sense is losing.

all these events - from gay marriage to Bin Laden popping up are the unfolding GOP plan. The plan that has always worked so well for them. God, Guns, Gays and Grandpa McCain. It's enough to make ya puke.

5. With $5.00 gas, food shortages, mortgage forclosures and the war? |

They'll fire up the same voter base they always fire up for these things. This is for them; they're not rallying to McCain yet, but they'll rally to this. Nice timing. Obama wouldn't get those votes even if he walked across the water of the reflecting pool and raised Reagan from the dead. So fuck 'em, we weren't counting on them anyway.
The rest of the people who might otherwise be swayed by this shit aren't going to bite. Obama's interesting coalition includes Black voters and young voters, whose numbers easily check-mate the GOP base.
And the election is six months away. This'll quiet down. Besides, it's a good decision and we should get behind it.
