How is Saudi Arabia an ally in the War on Terror again?
Even though the Religious 'Police' in Saudi Arabia terrorize, I mean 'police' people out on the streets, Saudi Arabia is our ally in the war on terror, right?

And even though they treat women like children (can't drive, put them in orphanages when there are family disputes, can't go out alone, etc.), and even though they treat Shia Muslims, Christians, Jews, and people of every other religion like enemies, they are in complete disagreement with groups like Al Qaeda, right?

So, what exactly makes Saudi Arabia our ally?

Maybe it's time to tie aid and our relationship with Saudi Arabia with it's state of human rights.

3. I think three things
1. Oil
2. The Saudis let us put bases on their soil (even though that bit us in the ass, if you read OBL's 1998 fatwa)
3. Saudi is on the receiving end of Al-Qaeda, etc's. wrath- the Saudis rejected Bin Laden's approaches in 1991 and he never forgave them for allying with the US during the Gulf War. So it is technically in their interest to prevent the success of Al-Qaeda. Not like they're trying very hard though.

Isn't Osama bin Laden Saudi?

6. First of all, the so called
war on terror is a joke, its been used by this Admin as a cover to do all kinds of despicable and illegal shit. Secondly, IMO our relationship and policy with Saudi Arabia and Israel just screams HYPOCRISY, and is probably one of the large number of reasons why the rest of the world has such dislike for our country.
