so that he won't lose the next election. He can't win as an independent next time because the republicans will have had time to get an actual candidate. He can't run as a democrat because I don't think people will vote for him next time even if he is. The only thing left is to turn republican and our democratic leadership have enabled him to do that to them and us. They (the democratic leadership) should have just dumped him on his head when he ran against Lamont.
