Saw a Prius with a Repub bumpersticker....
.. and not just a Repub, either, a sticker for Dino Rossi. Rossi is a particularly obnoxious Repub running for Governor in Washington State.

I didn't think Repubs could bring themselves to buy a Prius.

4. There's a political sub-forum over at Priuschat.com

There are some seriously crazy conservative folks driving Prii, if that forum is any example. They're not just for Liberal Treehuggers anymore.

5. If dollars and cents creates a more responsible environmental policy
I'd be more than willing to meet most of those drivers halfway.

10. Yes but first we need some way to get to work.
Right now I'm lucky enough to be able to telecommute. But many aren't so lucky. And one does have to eat etc.

13. I saw one in 2004...
With a bunch of "W" stickers... even my republican boyfriend at the time thought that was odd.

Dino Rossi is running again?

15. speaking of bumper stickers
I saw for the first time a car with two (count'em two) McCain bumper stickers (it was a Lexus which is of no importance) but I'd never before or since seen a McCain bumper sticker here in L.A.

16. Not all that surprising.
Their is a good number of them who do keep a small vehicle (even a prius) for work commuting to keep gas costs down. An offroading website I'm frequently at is full of rethugs, yet several do drive a small gas saver vehicle, and the nicer/gas guzzling vehicle for pleasure driving or hauling their dirtbikes.
