Homeless woman buried alive on beach: 3 to face 'involuntary manslaughter' charge
They didn't intend to kill her? Why, because they were drinking? Would the prosecutors excuse a drunk driving fatality because the driver did not "intend" to kill someone?

Or is a homeless woman's death somehow less important? :(

====

OCEANO, Calif.—A homeless woman died after being buried by three men on a Central Coast beach—a fate that the victim's family described as her greatest fear.

Patricia Ann Kalbskopf's neice Lisa Cruz said this weekend that her aunt's fear of burial was so acute that she made family members promise to cremate her after her death.

Three men are being held on involuntary manslaughter charges in Kalbskopf's death after they allegedly poured sand over her while she was passed out drunk Wednesday at the Oceano Dunes, causing her to suffocate.

Investigators say they don't believe that the men, who were also drinking, intended to kill Kalbskopf, but that their actions resulted in her death.

2. Well, if they poured sand over her face then even drunk
a blithering idiot would know that stops the breathing process, which leads to death. 20 years in e slammer playing sand castles with Bubba should straighten them out.

3. Methinks those fuckers need to be waterboarded. . .
so that they understand what suffocation and drowning are like.

5. The dunes there are used for off road vehicle activities. There is usually 1 death
per season there. A few weeks before a woman was killed by an person on a dune buggy hitting her as she got out of her car. It's a real mess in my opinion. Lots of gasoline wasted just for fun.

7. Alcohol? ... Keep moving, folks. Nothing to see here. C'mon, folks. Keep it moving.
Shouldn't they just pay a fine?

8. How horrible
That poor woman!

NC has banned vehicles on the beach this season and late night beach fires too, to prevent people from getting too out of hand.

10. There are still a lot of DUers who want to claim that most homeless people are alkies, and therefore
probably "cause" their own deaths.

Where is the outrage on DU over this kind of horrendous crime?
