Contessa Brewer just said they would keep their eye on it and update the public. For pity sake, the man is ill and could use some privacy and time with his family. Sure he is a public figure, but that does not entitle the media or the public to stick their noses under the tent in a morbid death watch. It reminds me of a time several years ago when a small plane went down near our home and the local channel broadcasted the news and then a couple of hours later put on an ad for their station referring to their being "first to break the news" of the crash. A man and his child died in that crash and the family had not even been informed. It is tasteless and base. I'm contacting MSNBC and calling them on this. What are they thinking?

2. It was either Dodd or Kerry (I think) in their statement about
Kennedy, who included a plea to please give him and his family privacy during this time. Sadly, as you have noted, that's probably not going to happen.

12. I saw a group of news helicopters flying overhead an hour ago,
just a few short miles from Hyannisport. I just knew they had to be headed there.
