Do you believe that there are terrorists... |
|
because for some reason when I listen to these republicons they seem to want to claim that liberal, democrats, progressive or whatever they want to call people who are against the war don't believe that there are terrorists. They seem to believe that because some of us want to get out of Iraq, that we think that the terrorists will disappear. My thoughts are that, I know that there are terrorists and we may have to fight them over here, there and all over the world. They seem to think that because they are in Iraq that this is how to fight terrorism.
Republicons believe that to end terrorism they can make everyone do what they want by killing everyone who disagrees with them. I believe that to fight terrorism you have to use different methods, something that they fail to realize. By destroying all of our resources and following these chickenhawks they are digging us deeper and deeper into a hole. I would have never believed that this country would let it get this far by following this dummy who is suppose to be a president,. We are all catching hell because everyone seems to be afraid of these people. My main point in writing this post is, that I get tired of hearing Graham and Mc Cain,Duncan Hunter and the rest of these neocons claiming that we don't believe that there are terrorists and that we want to baby them. What do you think?

1. There are terrorists, always have been, and always will be. |
|
Some are domestic, some aren't. IMO, a terrorist is anyone who tries to achieve their goal by scaring people. Hmmm, that sounds like a Pub, huh?

2. But, the bush worshippers don't seem to get that... |
|
If you turn on the news everyday you see terrorists committing crimes and scaring people. Plus the fact that we know that there are already terrorists in this country and if all of our resources are over there how do they expect to fight anything over here?

3. I don't think Republicons |
|
want to get rid of terrorist. They just want to use them to coerce people into doing what they want. That's why they let Osama escape, without Osama GOP becomes unnecessary Halliburton can't make Billions for Cheney and Carlisle Group can't sell weapons unless we use up the ones we have. Iraq was supposed to be easy victory, but they can't make money on quick victories. All the contractors in Iraq want to make money, and they don't care who wins or who dies. This capitalism gone horribly amok

|
they will begin using Osama again to remind us while they are pretending to hunt him down...They expect us to believe that they can kill everyone that they believe is a terrorist when, they can't even control the crime in this country, as a matter of fact it has gotten even worse since bushit took office...

4. Of course there are terrorists! More than ever now, in fact! |
|
I personally don't buy the conspiracy theories regarding 9/11, simply because the people who tout such ideas ignore the many, many instances of attacks by muslim extremists prior to 2001. It doesn't seem inconcievable that they would eventually succeed at destroying a larger target on foreign soil. At the very least, I haven't heard any premise more likely than that one.
That having been said, guess who's repsonsible for creating such anti-US sentiment in the first place? We are, for meddling in the Middle East for the last 60 years.
And guess who's responsible for creating a whole new generation of muslim extremists who hate America with a passion? The christian extremists currently in our own government.
QED.

13. the arabs are geniuses... |
|
even now it's hard to imagine the gang of islamic ramboes pulling off one of history's most astonishing stunts- in hundreds of years, the wtc 19 will be honoured worldwide like robin hood, or even richard the lion hearted, arabic version that is... Shortly after 911, over at Excite.com's main political chatroom, i delighted in confounding the freepers by, well expressing childlike astonishment and amazement at the deadly skill and stunning cool of the 19 hijackers, rambo was a putz in comparison, and mister obl. He become more famous then Jesus, i said; defying most powerful society on earth, making its bullyboy guardians look like frank burns on a drunk, and escaping retribution etc ad nazism too boot (of course, that was all nonsense as there were no hijackers, and obl was dead in sept/01) let the tapwworm have their version of wtc story, and mock them until they scream (indeed, several angry freepers outright said 911 was a white guy job, obviously! i found myself defending the bullshit 'official version' and accusing them of wishful thinking wetc. it drove them nutz)

Commuter jets have been hijacked before, and the targets the 19 were aiming for weren't exactly small.
Why is it so hard to believe it could have been done exactly the way we believe it was done?

6. The man who scared me the most about this was Michael Scheuer (sp?) |
|
He was head of the CIA's bin Laden unit and was on Keith Olbermann the other night. He said that there will be a nuclear attack in the U.S., but it won't come from Iraq, it won't come from Iran, it won't come from North Korea. It will come from the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Of course, we can't go in there because we are all tied up in Iraq.

12. As far as I'm concerned... |
|
...every intelligence operative and spy we have in Iraq right now should be deployed to that border region.
Notice I didn't say soldier--most of our ground forces could stay at home if we did it right. No more of this "invading en masse" bullshit.
They're always referring to Al Qaieda as "a new kind of enemy." If that is true, why are we still using the same old tactics?

20. Bush is creating so many enemies that... |
|
we could have them coming from all directions and we won't know who is doing what. I heard some neocon talking about fighting korea and china, and he was talkin about the problems with Russia.Pakistan shot off some type of missile today.
Bush and Cheney are pitting everyone against each other and they are plotting against us because bush doesn't know anything about foreign policy. When they selected him in 2000 I told my family this would be his down fall because he didn't know anything about people from other countries but, I didn't think it would get this far. I thought that he would have been thrown out of office in the first two years.

7. Terrorists exist........... |
|
But the shadowy, world-wide, organization of Islamic terrorists is a fabrication.
It's a useful fabrication, of course, but the Islamists aren't nearly as powerful as they were made out to be. They're getting there because of the actions of this goverment.

9. Are you refering to terrorists like the 9/11 sort ? |
|
I don't buy the 9/11 official story at all . I do think war of terror is an insane idea as far as calling it a war on terror .
I don't get the idea of terrorists following us here that bush touts .
But as far as being attacked here by an outside force well then we are open for something like this and bush just made it more possible .
We have not a secure country or borders or ports .
I am not some nut who buys into hype . I can't even say Bin is behind the 9/11 attacks , how whould we know .

21. They are refering to those types of terrorists... |
|
But,I am refering to the fact that they think that we don't believe that there are terrorists in these countries and they believe that we don't think that they are dangerous and will kill anyone.
I know this but it angers me when they put everyone who disagrees with bush or the neocons into one bag and portray us as narrow minded which is what they really are. They are so afraid that they will not listen to reason, they believe that they can kill every terrorist and then they can say that that we have won.

The only way to kill every terrorist is to turn almost the entire planet into glass . So in that respect they may actually win .

23. At the moment I am listening to Larry Elder .. |
|
he is busy making excuse for going into Iraq and one of his main reasons is that they called the U.S. names and that they said that they hate Israel. He also named some of the countries I named earlier as our enemies and is giving excuse why we may have to fight them. They are steadily finding reasons to start more wars that they can't win. This country believes that because we have nuclear weapons that that trumps all and they can tell everyone what to do,. This is one of there main reasons why they want to hit Iran...

America has the nukes so no one dares attack us even if we have a broken military . Unless of course they use the terrorist plans to attack here . Bush chooses to fight them over there and murder american troops and Iraqis by the thousands as if this will solve anything .
As far as calling the US names or them hating Israel , well there is a REAL good reason to murder people , not !
