9. Are these the guys who got instruction in envelopes slipped under hotel doors
from their anonymous boss-in-chief?

I know their not-so-anonymous boss, Roger Stone, was directing this staged event.
Did they make any mention of Roger Stone?

------------------
Who is Roger Stone, the Long-Time R Dirty-Trickster and Miami Mob Leader?
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x3052618

I'm starting this thread on the infamous DIRTY TRICKSTER rather than place this
on all the redundant threads about Stone reporting Elliot Spitzer to the FBI.

TOPIC: Dirty tricks and the dirty tricksters who work behind the political scenes.
Stone may epitomize this genre of operative better than other "known" figures today, excepting Karl Rove.

12. Yes I believe they did
And they even said "Karl wants protesters at Gore's house". Remember that? When they stood out in front of the VP house and chanted "GET OUT OF CHENEY'S HOUSE!"

2. Did Lieberman really help hand the election to Bush during the recount?

5. Yes, Lieberman seemed to undermine all the efforts of the Gore team
Every step of the way through the recount, it seemed that Lieberman did exactly the wrong thing and hacked away at strategy of the team. I've detested the sight and sound of him ever since.

4. Can't watch. Too painful...
...particularly in light of everything that's transpired in the world, as a result of the Bush's selection by the SCOTUS. There's not even a scab on the wound yet. I hope, though, that those who weren't psying attention at the time, because they were too young or for whatever reason, are watching this now.

7. I wish I hadn't watched it
It ripped open my scar from stem to stern, brought back all of those searingly painful feelings, renewed my ulcer, and it served no useful purpose that I can think of; it won't change anyone's mind. And they failed to include the most important aspect of all at the end: that when the ballots were finally counted, GORE REALLY WON. By that time, however, it was 9-11 and it no longer mattered.

I'm miserably depressed right now and hope I can recover in the morning.

10. It serves a very useful purpose for those who need to know the truth of that time.
Albeit, they too may bear scars from knowing the truth!!

13. Upon reflection, I agree
I woke up this morning feeling a bit better, and realized how very helpful this film will be to educate future generations. It underscored the main points that needed to be emphasized and may well prompt viewers new to the subject to do further research on their own.

Still, I wish I hadn't watched it myself... I didn't need the education or the reminder!

14. The worse part is that ----WHERE IS THE ELECTION REFORM?!1
Our whole system is antiquated (electoral college) and multi-facetedly crappy (state rules, party rules).

Seems like one-person-one-vote would be a simple concept, but NOoooooo!1 The electoral college has been known to be crap for over a hundred years. This year has pointed up how the party rules have been crap for 20 years.

And, as Laura DERN told Howard KURTZ yesterday, "I was DEVASTATED in 2000. Then I WAITED for the electoral reform I was SURE was coming so this would never happen again, and I'M STILL WAITING!1"

16. Anyone here realize That Kathryn Harris
should have recused herself? Conflict of Interest BIG TIME!
Harris at the same time a Secretary of State of Florida, was also a huge part of George Bush campaign in Florida. The real Conflict of Interest was the fact that she was also an electorial college delgate.
There is a place in Hell for that Bitch!
