‘Everybody hates George Bush.’
‘Everybody hates George Bush.’»

Via Atrios, the Dallas Morning News reports that “even Texas Republicans such as Dallas Rep. Pete Sessions are distancing themselves from President Bush”:

"The president, Mr. Sessions told a group of eighth-graders visiting the Capitol last week from Akiba Academy in Dallas, “is doing everything he thinks is correct,” and yet “the American people are fed up…. we’ve lost the House and Senate, and everybody hates George Bush.” "...http://thinkprogress.org/2008/05/26/everybody-hates-george-bush/

So, they've brought back 8th grade Civics in TX. Good first lesson.

4. We Never Voted For George W Bush A New Mantra Coming Soon!
Mark my words, ten to fifteen years from now, a solid majority of the American electorate will emphatically DENY that they ever campaigned for, contributed to, or even just voted for George W. Bush. Of course with the skyrocketing gas prices, part of the contrary bumper-sticker evidence will be found in the junk yards on old SUV bumpers after they've become too costly to drive for all but the wealthiest few.

8. I've been saying that since 2000.
I am proud never to have voted for that fascist warmongering idiot. And to have opposed his war from the beginning, too.

13. I've said it since 1994.
I've said that I've voted against George W. Bush all four times since he stood for office since 1994. (I'm now convinced there are people out in West Texas who voted against him all FIVE times he stood for public office). I thought he was an intellectual light-weight running on his daddy's name when he ran for Governor against Ann Richards in 1994 and I still regret that she wasn't able to put up a better fight against him.

I certainly didn't believe his flim-flam in 2000 and thought that even moderate-conservatives should have taken the Shrub at his 2000 word that he was an MBA President in 2004 and do to him what angry stockholders do to non-performing CEO's and fire him as a screw-up.

However, I suspect that a hefty percentage of the deniers are going to be the people who raised money for (what's his name), donated to (what's his name's) campaigns, and worked for (what's his name's) election. We Democrats will be the honest deniers.

9. The Dictatortot
was yammering this morning about Memorial Day (at Arlington? couldn't really watch). As a veteran, I'm creeped out by this AWOL coward speaking about my brothers and sisters in arms, who were not cowards, and who performed noble service for their country. I'm counting the days.

12. I also find it disgusting when he or
5 deferment Cheney go to Arlington, IMO, they disrespect those who served honorably when they go anywhere near that place.
