Worth of a photo?

You are a South African bush pilot. You fly in some critical medical supplies, enjoy a quick lunch at the hospital. It's a stifling 100 degrees in the shade and you're eager to get back up to the cool, high blue yonder.

On the way back to your plane, you discover that the only bit of shade, within 1 mile, has become very popular. . . .

You start calculating the distance to the plane door and wonder . . . "Do I feel lucky today?"

3. You might as well take the rest of the day off. No amount of hazard pay brings you back from dead.

9. Snopes says the photo is real, but
it can't vouch for the accompanying story.

Here's another photo in the series:

12. Found another version but still pretty cool
Out of Africa

You are a pilot in the south of Africa. You fly with a number of medicines to a far away hospital, and take a short brake for a fast lunch and a refreshing drink.

It is forty degrees outside and you really like to fly high in the air in your plane, where it is a bit cooler.

Going to your plane you discover suddenly that the only place with shade in the full surroundings have been grabbed. You start calculate the distance to the door of your plane and you wonder yourself despairing:

How in the name of god do I get out of Africa?
