f Obama wins, we may need the military to step in and save the country.

Re-enlistments will dramaticaly drop, and resignations of commissions will spike. No one will want to serve leaders that despise them, will send them on “peacekeeper: missions, under fund and poorly supply them and will willingly consider them expendable, in the face of “expedient” surrenders.

Personally, I would welcome a military coup. Too many people have paid the highest price to make and keep this nation what it is. The Democrats want with all their might to send America down the liberal socialist toilet, and that cannot be allowed to happen.

I say again: Admiral Mullen is reminded of the oath he took, just as I did 40 years ago this month, to protect the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. It is possible that the next president, as well as the speaker of the House and the Senate majority leader, will be an enemy of the Constitution. As an American citizen I will expect the admiral and those in his command to honor the oath if necessary.

47. Allow me to translate from Freepish to English
To Freepers, an "enemy of the Constitution" would be one who actually understand what it says and what it means, and expects ALL of it to be the law of the land, as opposed to only the 2nd amendment.

Therefore, the Chimp (who refers to the Constitution as "that god damned piece of paper") is "good", and Obama, who actually KNOWS and reveres the document, is "bad".

Drink a half-rack of some shitty beer like Old Milwaukie or something, and it will all make perfect sense.

stupid perhaps they need to ask why the Army is in such disarray. Why the Army can't retain Captains. They obviously have no understanding of civilian rule over the military and the Constitution. It time to round them up and send them to fight since they embrace war the fighting keyboards of the Chicken-hawk Army.

They're so out of touch with reality they don't see that what they worry will happen under a Democratic President has already happened under Bush**.

Constitution axed? Check.

Reenlistments dropped dramatically? Check.

29. They have been discussing this for a while
and many have put away "emergency supplies", stashes of food and jugs of water for the widespread chaos they envision if Obama-who they view as a muslim terrorist-is elected.
A lot of these folks seem to be the 800 foot jesus snake handler type of rightists. They have just come to realize they will probably lose the presidency and the congress to democrats who they believe will cause god to be angry with the us,thus sending more tornados, floods, etc to affect ehose who they approve. (They were not unhappy about Katrina and NO because those affected were mainly black and either heathen or catholic, branches of the same tree in their eyes.)

I believe there will be some attempt to kill Obama if/when he is elected.
People have been discussing that for nearly a year, and someone is crazy enough to do it if it is repeated often enough.
