Fool that I am, I took that forum off ignore late last month and started reading things in there. Pretty soon I posted a little.

I started out light -- just one OP in two weeks and few stray comments. Then it was two OPs in one week, and more commenting. Well, you know how it goes, before you know it, you're mainlining...

Anyway, I gotta tell ya, the last four days have been frightfully nasty. And I realized I didn't want to add to the nastiness anymore. So I posted this: Two Wolves

It made it to the home page just a little while ago, and I'd really like to see it pushed up to the top of the lineup because I really think alot of people need to read it and think about it.

So I'm shamelessly asking for more recs. Please forgive me if it is in bad taste for me to post this.

6. Oh thanks! As to "my" version, it's just by lucky happenstance.

I was thinking about that story last night, but I couldn't remember it well enough to just post it in my own words. So I did a quick 'Indian' 'Grandfather' 'Angry' 'Wolf' 'Story' keyword search and that was what I found at the first link I looked at.

Fortuitous, I think. :D

14. Just K & R 'd it. Thank you for the story. I've heard it before and I

think it is really profound. I decided a long time ago to try to be nice to everyone. I don't always succeed. Yesterday I put up a thread and got pounded and truthfully it really hurt. I made a mistake and quickly took care of it.

The difference in the responses were:

"I don't think that is a good idea" vrs. people tell me I was ignorant and basically being really mean.

An "I don't think that is a good idea" would have sufficed but some people just want to add
Ad Hominem attacks to the person rather than address the issue.
