9. No shit!!! I remember us 'just a focus group' in the streets

worldwide. I remember that the phone calls to the (202) area code, either before the capital had a toll free number or before I was aware of it, spanned 2 months of phone bills. I wrote letters and sent e-mails, too!

A lot of us were "right" and had to endure being called unpatriotic and america haters for it. So I must ask, who really does hate America?

We, the hoi polloi, the "little people" the "focus group" KNEW the lead-up to the war was complete and utter bullshit. Why? Cuz we were paying attention, damn it!!! Without belabouring the past and citing Scott Ritter and other rational sources, I've been flummoxed for years regarding how everyone followed this "intelligence" like lemmings. I'm sick of the righteous shock and indignation that those in power were "lied to" or "mislead" Kerry and Clinton only voted for Bush's war policies because they were scared of being thought as cowards just before the 2002 mid-terms and the Repigs had them backed into a corner. To say now that they didn't know--when we peasants did--infuriates me.

Now CNN and the like are reporting Sweaty Scotty's words like they're Claude Raines (I'm SHOCKED!! SHOCKED, I tell you!!). It's an insult to our intelligence, and to all of us who've been screaming about it for years.
