4. I think they're just unable to face their own culpability in the Iraq mess....
.... They packaged it and sold it.

5. But you did you hear her....
Edited on Thu May-29-08 04:15 PM by Stagecoach
say that she reported back then that Bush was putting a sales job on the American people? That's news to me!

Of course all these mainstream media people are going to come out talking like this, because this book is making them look bad.

7. Mrs. Greenspan
is doing what all the other "journalists" are doing: attacking McLellan instead of examining what he wrote.

They're afraid to face what their part was in this horrible nightmare that is the past seven+ years. They can't take the truth.

Smarmy bunch, they are.

9. I KNOW I heard some reporter last night say that they checked and there
was NO ghost writer! Sorry, I can't remember what show it was on or what reporter said it, but I have a pretty std. schedule of watching the Sit. Room from 4-6, Race for the White House 6-7, Hardball 7-8, Countdown 8-9 & The Verdict 9-10, so it was on one of those!

13. The Whtie House and its White House press are lousy at journalism,
lousy at patriotism, lousy at transparency, lousy at turning the blame.

They are creaturs who invaded our lives and infested our brains and we're dying - unless we learn about the disease they carry and transfer. They successfully blew their journalism degree and a lot of money to make bigger money. They are predator pricers of lies.

18. Saw that, plus
do publishers write books? I've heard of ghost writers, but I thought publishers just published stuff and left the writing to others. Maybe I'm missing a big chunk of the publishing industry?

16. Andrea Mitchell is zero to me. She has begun to resemble
her husband, Alan Greenspan, more and more in the last couple of years. I have never heard her say anything of importance. If I am wrong, someone please let me know.

20. Dumb, Andrea. Just pure, unadulterated, dumbass commentary. With the help of an editor, certainly,
maybe a ghostwriter who transcribed McClellan's words, but not the publisher.

Go wake Greenspan up, sphincter.

:toss: :feed:

They've been compliant water carriers for so long, it's basically expected of them to play along with the BFEE narratives passed to them for broadcast.

23. In Defense of Scot McClellan
by Alex Koppelman who has the same publisher. from Salon

http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/2008/05/29/mcclellan_publisher/

-snip-

"Obviously, I can't vouch for McClellan's veracity. I have, however, had a chance to read his book. And having also known and worked with Kaufman for several years, I can say this: "What Happened" was not, as Rove et al. have charged, written by his "New York editor." Stylistically, that is just not her voice on the page. Neither is Kaufman some ideologue with an agenda to push. She demands that her authors write intelligently, clearly and honestly, regardless of their political views. The notion of Kaufman as "brainwasher" is absurd...."

-snip-

Koppelman says McClellan received less than $100,00.00 advance for the book.
