10. parents aren't taking care of business at home.

i would never think to put my hands on a teacher. i would have had to face the wrath of my mom which was way scarier than any teacher. my daughter's 1/2 sister has been expelled from school for putting her hands on a teacher-3rd time. i remember a girl slapping a teacher when we were in 3rd grade. she appears to be mentally ill now and perhaps that is the explanation for her behavior. i will not tolerate disrespect to teachers or other adults. i come from a family of educators, i just couldn't imagine a child stepping to my relatives. this is a sad state of affairs.
