5. Corrine Brown - FL 3rd congressional district representative
Edited on Sat May-31-08 10:56 AM by DaveTheWave
As stupid and corrupt as her wigs. Nobody listens to her or takes her seriously in Washington. She's pretty much a "gimme" to the democrats by the republican's as she really doesn't represent anybody.

Edit - The one sitting to the left behind the speakers today on CSPAN

4. She's a woman, and therefore her looks are more important than her words or actions.

If she said something intelligent (for the first time) then somebody else wrote it for her to read or you have very low standards and expectations.

Pop! :P

11. I remember her speaking, begging for one member of the Senate to agree to challenge the vote
She was one of the most outspoken members of the Black Caucus, which walked out in protest the day the electoral college votes were counted.

I remember when Corrine was censured in July 2004 for saying that the 2000 election was stolen.

Congresswoman Corrine Brown made the following statement:”Striking my words from the House floor is just one more example of the Republican Party’s attempt to try and cover up what happened during the 2000 election and of their activities this year in the state of Florida in preparation for stealing this year’s election as well. What is the Republican Party so afraid of? Let me tell you what I’m afraid of: another stolen election and four more years of the Bush administration. When the words of Corrine Brown are stricken from the floor, so is the voice of her 600,000 constituents in Florida’s third congressional district."
