A majority of Americans want us out of the Middle East period. Iraq right now. Our country wheeling from debt and war which has lasted longer than WWII with no win in sight.
Yet what do the major candidates do as a priority when they know they could be President? Meet with AIPAC.
http://www.c-span.org/They promise them everything they want and assure them they will look after their best interests (not ours of course). We pay their salaries and they swore an oath of office to us but they act in the best interest of another country against their citizens approval.
In the last two days...McCain spoke to them yesterday promising them his support. Hillary and Obama today doing the same.
When Israelis pay for our government (instead of us) and go to war to die for us, we might listen. Right now I agree with President George Washington. It's best to stay out of other country's fights. It is not good to declare their enemies ours. It is not in our best interest and apparently not their citizens (who protest in the streets).
They are the same Congressional frat gang as in the past. What change?
