I suspect that the USO is a partisan organization. Why?... |

I received a letter from them. And it was addressed to me in such a way that they had to have purchased the list from either Bush/Cheney campaign or RNC.
How do I know that is where they received my name?
I subscribed to the Bush/Cheney and/or RNC email alerts during 2004 using my name with the following added: "Hates Bush" I included with my last name in that field "Hates Bush".

Was it a letter asking for money? If so, you kind of can't blame them for targeting Republicans. Maybe they think they are more likely to contribute.

USO used to send skivvy shows up to Bravo. We were in the middle of exactly no where, 100 GIs on a missile site. Monthly we'd get some skinny Korean stripper backed by a three-piece combo of long-haired rockers. When we made it into Seoul, the USO house had hamburgers and a comfortable lounge and folks who spoke English to give us advice on places to see. From my perspective, the only partisanship was support for GIs. That makes the USO OK in my book. The Donut Dollies--Red Cross Girls--were OK by me, too.
