It'll be whoever he ends up deciding he wants.
What the hell were y'all expecting? Another "I hate Hillary" thread?
He's seems a reasonably intelligent guy (I've met him, so make that more than just "reasonably" intelligent)who will weigh the pros and cons of the various choices. He'll end up going with the one he decides on, and most of us will be fine with it, too: if it's Hillary, if it's anyone else, it's his choice, and I'm sure I'll have no problem with it, as long as it's a Democrat (we've had way too few of them in the executive branch of late).
Anyone else out there willing to trust his judgment?

3. hey, I'm a leftie activist & I expect to be pressuring President Obama for years to come ... |

I strongly support him for president but "trust his judgment"? -- hey I believe in mass politics and trusting the president's judgment all the moreso with a powerful peace movement PUSHING HARD, and on other issues, like the Greenhouse.
FDR in one famous quote said something to a group of advocates along the lines of -- "You've convinced me that you're right; I WANT to do what you suggest -- now MAKE me do it!"
I doubt Obama would sharply disagree w/FDR on this approach to mass politics
