6. I think you're right...

I don't watch..but when I read or watch a youtube of someone saying something particularly egregious I email. I don't know how people can take a daily diet of this stuff, and I really wish these media soap opera's would fade into oblivion, but as long as they continue to be relevant, an email is the least I can do.

4. After spending 2 1/2 days at the Texas Democratic Convention, I know some reasons Obama can win.

Eight thousand delegates, and thousands more of alternates, at the biggest TX Dem State Convention ever, aching to "turn Texas blue." (Following on 3,000 delegates, alternates and others at the county caucus in Denton County alone; and the 1 million who turned out for the caucuses on the night of the primary.)

Rethug Senator Cornyn running only a few percentage points ahead of his Democratic challenger, before the campaign has really begun, so before thousands of grassroots activists go out to really campaign.

Obama is challenging "red" states nationwise, so maybe not Texas, but he will likely take some "safe" Rethug states.

$4.00 a gallon gas, and a price that will only go up.

Deepening recession, rising mortgage foreclosures, rising layoffs; and a populace increasingly aware that they need to blame the Rethugs for their plight.

So, it's certainly no done deal -- but Obama CAN WIN.
