If there's ONE THING that Congress SHOULD investigate |
|
It's Bush's use of "signing statements".
Honestly, Bush's prolific use of the semi-legal "signing statements" makes a mockery of CONGRESS ITSELF.
Do they realize that so much of their hard-fought work in committees and reconciliations is being NULLIFIED by a small cabal of corrupt lawyers such as Addison and his ilk?
Do they have NO PRIDE in their work?
I dunno, maybe they have a different "view" of their Constitutional duties than I do.
But I would be ROYALLY PISSED OFF by people UNDOING all the hard work I was doing for my constituents.

I could have sworn I'd seen something about Conyers looking into the legality of them, maybe a month or so ago.

3. The entire Congress will soon sort that out |
|
They will certainly not be allowing this to continue in the event that Obama wins. Watch the media raise all the Constitutional violations as the election approaches.
