The Internet and Nixon
If we had the internet while Nixon was president, would we be saying the same thing about not having the votes and waiting until he was out of office to try and impeach him?

1. Please learn about what impeachment is before offering your opinions on the matter.
Only sitting Presidents, Federal judges, justices and other Constitutional officers may be impeached. You cannot impeach someone who is not in office.

After that, you might consider reading up on the political mood and makeup of Congress during the Watergate affair.

That's funny, I don't recall offering any opinions. I asked a question.

EDIT: My apologies, it's obvious now you were speaking to everyone rather than just me.

4. implication.
This question implies that we are framing this debate to take place WHILE he is president.

3. you can't impeach someone who's not in office. You could impeach his character on the stand
but that's about it.

5. Okay, my bad.
Okay, I admit I offered ignorance on impeachment.

Alright then, would we be advocating waiting until the next president to investigate and possibly imprison him?

6. If We Didn't Have the Internet There Would be No Discussion of Impeachment at All
Where would impeachment be discussed? In the Repiglickin media?
In Congress, where the "blue dogs" and the repigs still have a working majority?

not bloody likely.
