Just called Kucinich's office to say thanks.
the staffer was genuinely happy to hear from me. I didn't ask if they had gotten many calls, but I got the impression they hadn't.
Here is his office number: (202) 225-5871

1. You just reminded me to call again. I did yesterday and will
tomorrow. I could hear other lines ringing in the background while I spoke with the staffer.

Staffer: "Congressman Kucinich's office, how may we help you"?

Me: "You've already helped me...a great deal, in fact. Please thank the Congressman for introducing articles of impeachment and tell him he has my full support even if the rest of Congress tries to bury the effort. I've decided to call my Rep. every day and urge him to get behind the Resolution".

Staffer: "Thank you so much. We appreciate the support".

Me: "It's my pleasure. You know, I'm really jealous".

Staffer: "Jealous"?

Me: "Yes, of you. I bet it's an honor to work for Congressman Kucinich".

Staffer: "You know, it really is".

2. Be sure to thank the staff!

Behind every Congressman/woman there is a staff that provides support.

Be sure to thank the staff as well. You'd be surprised at their reaction!

3. Thanks... You prompted me to call as well...
and I included the staff in my appreciation. The woman I spoke with was very gracious.

4. K&R
First call Conyers and Pelosi and get all your anger out...

Then call Kucinich and thank him for giving us something to shout about.

6. I've been meaning to do that
--done!

The staffer seemed a bit surprised. I don't know whether it was because of my home state or the call in general. In any case, it felt really good to say 'thank you'.
