Bush, Cheney, and Rice sink to lowest ratings ever.

A new Harris poll finds that President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice are now registering their lowest approval ratings ever. Some highlights:

President Bush’s latest ratings are 24 percent positive and fully 75 percent negative. Previously, his worst numbers were 26 percent positive and 72 percent negative in April of this year. His ratings are substantially worse than those of any president, except for Jimmy Carter (22%-77% in July 1980), since Harris first started measuring them in 1963.

Vice President Cheney’s ratings are even worse, 18 percent positive and 74 percent negative, compared to his previous low of 21 percent positive, 74 percent negative last July.

Secretary of State Rice’s ratings are much better than those of the President and Vice President, but also have fallen to their lowest point ever, 39 percent positive and 54 percent negative, compared to 42 percent positive and 51 percent negative last October.

4. Cheney: 18% positive, 74% negative
so 8% had no opinion of him? truthfully, 18% is far too generous. *shudder*

7. People are still ignorant abot Condi's pre-9/11 failure.
She completely ignored repeated, clear and insistent warnings from Richard Clarke. She has a lot of responsibility for 9/11.

8. Impeachment of the guys 3/4 disapprove of will bring horendous backlash.
If they try to impeach him with a 100% disapproval rating. That could possibly start a civil war. WHAT THE HELL IS CONGRESS USING FOR BRAINS!

12. Even so, Ms. Nancy says impeachment would be politically disastrous for the dems this November...
Ya know, that's such an abysmally fucking stupid line of irrational gibberish that it ought to be high on Snopes' list of the all-time dumbest mantras in US political history.

Some of her formerly dutiful lockstep acolytes are starting to call bullshit on her lame excuses, and have openly questioned her "leadership" -- which is code for wondering aloud if she's just an idiot, completely delusional or cuddling on the couch with The Commander Guy.

But this isn't just harmless politicking; she's adding substance to their already skanky reputations as terrorized invertebrates who quiver and beg for their lives whenever an alpha repug enters the room. Bowing and scraping and salaaming and groveling and flinching at a raised eyebrow. Who could take these dipshits seriously? Who would want them running the show?

Obviously this excludes Kucinich, Wexler, most SF Bay Area reps (with one glaring exception), the congressional black caucus and a few more gutsy fighters scattered throughout the chamber, little islands of courage and principle surrounded by an ocean of sycophantic twits interested only in retaining their jobs and building stronger bonds with their corporate employers who stuff these swine's pockets with generous bribes every election cycle.

But there's Ms. Nancy, our lady of perpetual botox immobility, quaking in her Pradas, worry lines ruining all that expensive "work," an single bead of patrician perspiration carving a channel through the pancake makeup and continuing slowly down her left cheek, dashing aimlessly up and down the aisles in a tizzy because she continues to believe -- or says she does -- that it's political suicide to impeach two scumbags whose combined positives don't even add up to 50 percent.

And who three quarters of all respondents viewed negatively. Not just "oh well, they're doing a crummy job but they're trying their best..."

Nope. Negative numbers usually reserved for animal torturers and kidnappers. Or anti-war activists.

People HATE these rat bastards and want them held accountable. Unlike the dwindling percentage that's willing to wait them out -- risking bombing Iran, possibly with nuclear weapons, and imposition of martial law if they can't manage to steal this one for McPain -- the mood is now shifting from passive acceptance to serious concern to white hot outrage at getting fooled time after time by the colossal pile of Bushean bullshit, delivered with glossy credibility every night on TV by the chowder-headed nitwit shills masquerading as functional reporters and thoughtful commentators.

I think a lot of this 180 degree course correction is driven by the anger and frustration directed inward when they're finally forced to acknowledge their own gullibility for believing all the manipulative lies and then publicly supporting them in their world-wide crime wave.

That kind of frustration turns into a desire for revenge pretty quickly. In cases where the frustrated actually know who their representatives are, that desire can translate into emails, phone calls and faxes by the tens of millions.

Seventy-two percent view Bush as a national disgrace and millstone around the neck of the republic. Nearly eight years late to the party, but all are welcome under the giant tent of impeachment, removal, indictments, trials, verdicts and the harshest possible sentences for all of these vermin.

Then the purge begins; Obama begins his presidency by nullifying every single Bushean law, signing statement, EO and PD, then shredding all pieces of paper signed by The Commander Guy.

Except for the resignation letter, which goes to the national archives.
