SCOTUS restores HABEAS CORPUS . . . for now!
But remember, it was a VERY NARROW (5 to 4) victory for the CONSTITUTION.

The narrowness of the decision proves why we, Democrats, and progressive Independents, need to come together to insure that Barack Obama is elected president. The next President will almost certainly nominate 1 or 2 more Supreme Court Justices. A president McCain (ughhh!)will nominate 1 or 2 more Justices who think, and decide, like Scalia. That means that a 5 to 4 VICTORY becomes a 5 to 4 or 6 to 3 LOSS, and America will, in short, be FUCKED for the next 30 years.

Think about it . . . and VOTE OBAMA!

1. You are sooooo correct
I am so glad Jr. Idiot didn't get to nominate more than he did. I assume if another justice resigns or dies we can run out the clock until the new president and Congress are in power.
