Rudy Giuliani Having His TITS Bitten By Donald Trump While In Drag |
|
Edited on Mon Mar-05-07 08:56 PM by Vinnie From Indy
Countdown just ran the old Rudy Giuliani in drag clip. Ouch! You know that the old video has got to sting for Rudy as he courts the whacko fundies. The clip was shot years ago with Donald Trump of all people. It shows America's Mayor mincing about in full drag. The cherry on this sundae is that Donald Trump begins to attack America's Mayor by biting his fake titties as he swoons and coquettishly feigns resistance. Rudy, we hardly knew ya!
For some odd reason, Ann Coulter hasn't called Rudy a F@gg@t.

You certainly seem to be a bit tightly wound yourself. It was hard to keep track of all the things you mentioned that I never wrote.

7. It's not serious political discourse. It's funny. |
|
Pictures of Rudy Giuliani in drag are funny. One does not expect a generally staid, carefully-modulated authority figure to be dressed up with lipstick, a wig, and falsies. Pictures of John Kerry in drag would be equally funny.
Also, I don't recall anyone here calling Rudy a "faggot," or Romney a "fudge packer."

11. Giuliani's hardly anti-gay. |
|
He may not be in favor of gay marriage, but to his credit, he is a strong supporter of civil unions, and opposes anti-gay-marriage amendments. This isn't really hypocritical. Rather, it's a demonstration of his socially liberal, have-some-harmless-fun side--a side which I think is going to turn off the religious right while appealing to moderates looking for personality over policy.

12. It's hypocritical for a Puke candidate. |
|
This stuff isn't just coming up because people want to take shots at Rudy. Well, maybe it is, but the point is that Pukes can't walk the walk... whatever that is.

an over/under for number of posts before someone complains about either the word "tits" or accuses the OP of homophobia. I see I was too slow.

6. If I were a Republican it wouldn't affect my vote at all |
|
If Rudy wants to dress in drag, then I'm all for it and I think there's nothing wrong with it. I think he should dress in drag and go campaigning throughout the south that way. What he says and what he stands for, for me at least, is far, far more important than how he dresses. If I'm absolutely okay with it, why aren't the bible-thumpers?

10. I don't think it'll have much of an effect, really. |
|
Most people see that he's not doing it for so-called "perverse" sexual pleasure, but rather as a free-wheelin' joke. Besides, the far right isn't going to like him anyway. His pro-choice, pro-gun-control, pro-gay-tolerance views will turn quite a few of the hardcore right off (though not all, since he'll probably promise to appoint strict constructionists to the Supreme Court). Either way he'll have to draw from the center in order to win, and this kind of tomfoolery really won't upset any moderates.

After all, the New York Times in 2000 published a photo of George Bush in drag from his cheerleading days at Andover. It didn't seem to have any effect on his conservative base at all. In his case, it was all explained away as part of his unbridled and carefree youth.
