please understand that I am sorry for the loss tim russert's family and friends are experiencing, even though I don't share in the generally expressed belief that he was some sort of journalistic god.

strikes me, however, that bushco missed a prime opportunity to declare that his death was some sort of evil plot ("see, the bad guys really ARE out to get us") , and create a wave of hysteria, rather than just histrionics. guess there were too many witnesses.

1. I have been ruminating over this the past few days. So much has come out

about Timmy and his political conversion.

He was good western NY boy, working for Daniel Moynihan and Mario Cuomo. He was famously converted over to a RW television shill by the GE networks. They bought his soul and he sold it willingly, but my guess is that it tore him apart inside.

I am not grave dancing. Just making an observation.
