All Saints star Virginia Gay recovering after attack in deadly rampage

ALL Saints star Virginia Gay is recovering after a violent attack by two men who bashed another victim to death only minutes later.

The 26-year-old actor was punched repeatedly in the face and was lucky not to have been killed, police said.

The attack happened last Friday night in Sydney's inner-west suburb of Marrickville.

Two men approached her from behind and demanded her handbag before punching her to the ground.
