Dongwon to buy whole stake in StarKist
SEOUL, June 20 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's food conglomerate Dongwon Group is seeking to take over StarKist Foods Inc., the U.S. biggest canned tuna supplier, from Del Monte Foods Co., the group's vice chairman said Friday.

"We are negotiating terms of the takeover with Del Monte," said Park In-koo, adding that seven to eight companies are bidding for Starkist.

The Moonies are getting a monopoly on the world's fisheries.

3. As a wage slave for another of the world's largest corporations, I have to point out
that we will wake up one morning and discover that there is nothing left here but hollow shells of paper companies.

Del Monte, Dole, IBM, HP, Boeing, AIG, etc. have nothing but executive offices and lawyers left in this country. It's all gone, or going as fast as they can, elsewhere. We will be left with nothing but a bag full of I.O.U.s and no way to collect.
