GOP's latest Obama talking point... |
|
...yesterday the GOP-controlled media spend the day bleating on and on about Barack Obama and how he won't take public funding and how he wouldn't let those women in headscarves sit behind him.
I forget which talking head hinted at it, but it dawned on me that the GOP's new talking point is that Barack Obama is a media creation, who spends a lot of time crafting a spectacle for TV.

3. I suspect we'll see this throughout the summer. |
|
Looks like Admiral McCombover is following the exact script the GOP wants him to.
Just like his predecessor, Bush.

8. Yes, I agree it will get worse. |
|
Which is why I think we should consider it to better counter it.

9. Obama didn't stop the women from sitting behind him- |
|
people organizinge the rally did- He called the women personally to apologize.
How many times has Mccain apologized to people he's offended. He called a young student in Concord NH -who had the audacity to ask him if he worried about being too old for the presidency- a "little jerk"- and 'joked'- "you're DRAFTED" in response. ??? Where was his apology?
And as for the public funding- McCain had to use anticipated "Public funding" to secure a loan- because his campaign was broke- In other words, he acted as if both he and Obama had "worked out their agreement" on using public funding, before Obama was even the presumptive Nominee- So he didn't live up to his own end of the agreement.
It's all in what side you want to defend. peace~

11. That's how the GOP-controlled media was presenting it yesterday... |
|
...along with the new talking point: Obama is a creation of the media.
He is overly sensitive to how he appears on TV, etc.
That thing with those women is the first shot across the bow.
Expect more.

12. I understand what you see them trying to do- but we need to |
|
counter it with the truth.
Obama did NOT avoid the women- and as soon as he was made aware of it, he corrected it. NOT because 'he's concerned about his image' - that would justify keeping them out- but because he sincerly does want to be a leader of ALL America-
Obama isn't a creation of the media- He's an example of a genuine 'grass-roots' PEOPLE powered candidate. He doesn't need public money from the govt. We the people are behind him- the average Joe's and Jill's like you and me-
I hear ya- I'm replying to the media's propaganda-
peace~
