Explain to me how it is entirely up to the Democrats to keep us safe??

The Republicans drew a line in the sand and said, "If you don't accept it our way, then we may be attacked again and it will be your fault.." The Democrats said, "We have the laws on the book that we need... we just need to obey those laws." In the end, the Repubs stared the Democrats down.

It was as if to say, "we don't really give a shit if we are attacked or not...it will by your fault." And they refused to compromise with the Democrats, even though they were in the minority. In the end, their tactics paid off. They were able to break the laws and get away with it. There will be no accountability.

Some Repubs stood up to brag about how we were not protected in the last 4 months. We were lucky. Either we do it their way or no way. So in the end, we did it their way. We lost. We got our asses handed to us. Our Party has no balls and no courage. They are a whimpering circle of chickenshits. Don't they make you proud?
