It appears the AdCouncil is all Ann Coulter has left
Edited on Tue Mar-06-07 03:38 PM by Oreo
I just did my part to end that after seeing a United Negro College Fund ad on her site.

I got the following reply after sending in the indented emails to the AdCouncil (and the UNCF):

Thank you for this information. This has been forwarded to our headquarters in New York for a proper response.

Kind Regards,
Regional Managing Director
Ad Council – Central Region

It appears that the ad vendor Mercuras/Intermarkets is hosting your ads on the website.
If you click on this link you’ll see the banner: http://www.mercuras.com/0506/ac_468x60_v1.htm
The following code was pulled from Coulter’s home page:

I'm not sure if you realize this but the AdCouncil is featured as the only remaining advertiser on Ann Coulter's website.

If you have not heard she called John Edwards a faggot. Do you think the NAACP would appreciate you advertising them on her site?

1. New KOS diary says LasikPlus dropped ads too
Unless anybody can tell me different the AdCouncil is the last of them and I can't imagine they'll stay there for long.

Hello, Kevin Booth, Director of Marketing at Lasik Plus.

I'm in receipt of the email you sent regarding our advertising on a particular webiste. I agree with you that it is probably a website we would not target based on political and social affiliations. However, we don't target specific websites, we target demographics, and I'm sure there are folks on that website that are in need of Lasik. We might find ourselves on that website due to the advertising network we're buying.

However, having said that, we checked out the network we are buying that was using that site and we are no longer on that network. And so we should not be on that anymore.

We appreciate your business, we appreciate your concern, and thank you for expressing your opinion. Hopefully, we'll continue to see your business down the road.

Thank you,

Kevin Booth

3. Good job, Oreo
HuffPo also ran a story that 3 companies pulled their ads from her site.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/03/05/coulter.ads/index.html?eref=rss_topstories

Companies to pull ads from Coulter's Web site

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- At least three major companies want their ads pulled from Ann Coulter's Web site, following customer complaints about the right-wing commentator referring to Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards as a "faggot."

Verizon, Sallie Mae and Georgia-based NetBank each said they didn't know their ads were on AnnCoulter.com until they received the complaints.

A diarist at the liberal blog DailyKos.com posted contact information for dozens of companies with ads on Coulter's site after the commentator made her remarks about Edwards at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington on Friday. (Full story)

"One of the best ways to communicate one's distaste for Coulter's repeated incidents of hate speech is to respectfully but firmly let her advertisers know you are deeply troubled by their indirect support of bigotry through their advertising on Coulter's Web site," the blogger VolvoDrivingLiberal wrote on DailyKos.com on Sunday.

4. Right now the ads are for Ann's book, the Young America
Foundation and the "conservative book club." You know, the Bible, Ann's books, Mein Kampf, etc.

Where's the Klan? Don't they have an ad budget?
