This should scare the crap out of you....
Sy Hersch described a potential scenario that is very disturbing to say the least...

He feels they are ramping up the Spec Ops inside Iran with the goal of capturing some nuclear scientist and parade him around as proof with the claim that Iran has an active nuclear weapons program......

I immediately had a disturbing vision. I remembered what Sam Seder had said before about how torture is used to illicit false confessions. I then remembered how John McCain, during a 60 Minutes segment from the 1990's, had admitted to such - a false confession - under torture to which the Vietnamese gov't used as propaganda against their own people.

It's not beyond these criminals to kidnap an Iranian scientist, torture him to the point of confessing to a secret nuclear weapons program, parade him around as such as proof, and then use that false information as reason for attacking Iran.

What happened to America?

1. "There's an old saying in Tennessee...
...I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee... that says, fool me once, shame on—shame on you. Fool me—you can't get fooled again."

3. They've done it already with Iraq...
Remember Colin Powell's infamous speech to the UN - Feb 5, 2003?

He named a man named -al Libi- whom Powell claimed had "told" the US that Iraq was developing WMD.

What we learned subsequently was that Mr al Libi was water-boarded, tortured, to illicit a false confession to claim that Iraq had WMD, for which that scumbag Colin Powell used as "evidence" before the UN....

Don't believe these lying sacks of shit. If they tell you the sky is blue, you better believe the sky is anything BUT blue.

12. Hell, they could grab some guy off the street in Australia and parade
him around as "Iran's nuclear mastermind" with the usual barrage of blarney from unnamed "experts," and our useless corporate media would follow suit dutifully

The only reason they might torture the guy, is cuz they thought that was great fun

14. And let's not forget that outing Plame was part of setting up the system.
Destroying that network furthered their goals.
