If a jury that spent a lot of time going over evidence in the Libby trial want to know where Rove is and Cheney... shouldn't our elected Democrats ask that as well?

it might give the defense a basis for an appeal. They could claim that the jury was biased, and was trying to hang the Bush/Cheney bunch. Perhaps another DU'er with more legal knowledge than myself could let us know if there is much of a chance of this happening.
