4. Mukasey an improvement over Gonzales
imagine that.

what happens if the president tries to interfere with a prosecution, like we've seen the past 7 years. . . .

a 2x4 right between the eyes. And yet, Pelousy still protects Rove and Bush.

12. He's Slicker
Gonzo was out of his league...Mucko is a player. And Schummer didn't see this?

Mucko knew what his job was...to keep the smoke screen as murky as possible and parse like a sonuvabitch. Gonzo wasn't a good tap dancer. He's there to protect his client...what this regime did was hire the hick lawyer and bring in the Wall Street gun. And Schummer didn't see this?

Right now "Executive Privilidge" protects this regime...until that spell is broken, then there's no way to get the evidence that proves all the criminality. Right now a Judge Bates holds that power.

Cheers...

6. A Truly Under Appreciated Senator
He's been on the firing line in many battles with this regime and has stood strong to all that has been thrown at him. His problem, like that of Henry Waxman isn't finding the corruption, it's getting to the bottom of it.

14. "The Bill Will Be ReWritten"
And I believe that Leahey, Feingold and Dodd will push for that.

As sounds determined to go after this regime next year and with a bigger majority and this regime no longer able to obstruct, he may get his, and our, true justice. At least one can dream...

25. Honestly...That Is More Imporant
For those who want impeachment, this is the smoking gun...Mucko is covering up a lot of coruption in the DOJ and Leahy has a lot more to do with this issue than FISA. While many were watching the FISA debate yesterday, I would pop over to watch Mucko testify...it was appauling and no doubt he's both obstructing and getting Leahy and others really pissed off. It's just a matter of time until we get proof that Rove used the DOJ as his political playtoy and the abuses and cover-ups in all the attorney firings will be the one of the biggest scandals of the many this regime leaves behind.

29. He Needs The Evidence
What was most telling in the debates in the Senate about FISA was how those who were in "the know" were so opposed to it...and alluded to other spying that they can't talk about. Even Magic Bullet Arlen...the ranking member...was all agog...and then folded, as usual. Yep, they all know there's criminality here...Feingold all but said it...but saying it is one thing, proving it is another and right now there's "Executive Privilidge" and other stonewalling going on that is preventing them from getting the proof. It's frustrating as all hell...but the truth will out. I get a strong feeling that once the dark cloud of this regime is removed, a lot of tongues will begin to wag and a lot of skeletons will fall out of closets.

Cheers...

33. They Will...I Have Book Contracts To Sell Ya
If the GOOP is swept out of power in November, there are gonna be a lot of ex-booshies on the outside looking for a paycheck. There's only so many "fellowships" at the AEI and Heritage Institute...the quickest, easiest way is to sell out. We'll get a ton of books and many of these goons will hit the rubber chicken circuit to try to cash in. Hell, even boooshie says that's what he wants to do. Be assured each will have their own spin on history and their own place and the more tongues wagging, the more conflicts, the more we'll learn. Look at how well it's gone for Snotty McClelland. Ya don't think there are others inside who won't sell out now, but will after the election?
