Poll question: So, what will McCain's macaca moment be? |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-10-08 05:35 PM by smoogatz
You just know his campaign people are having a hell of a time keeping him on message and under control; whenever he gets out in front of people he can barely contain his rage. That being the case, the odds are very good that at some point before the election, as the stress really starts to get to him, McCain will go McPostal in front of God, the press corpse, and everyone—and even CNN won't be able to pretend it didn't happen. So what's it gonna be, folks? A racist outburst? A shouting match with a heckler? A staffer ridiculed in public? Or something even worse? As always, feel free to click "other" and provide your own prediction.

2. They are all possibilities but in the long run they won't matter |
|
I'm convinced that McCain is only a place holder. Nobody wants him to be president except the media. Dems hate him and the repubs aren't too jazzed about him either. I believe an incident will occur, or be invented if one fails to take place, whether a "macaca" moment or a health issue, that will lead to McCain's removal from the ticket and replacement with whoever it is they really want.
It's really hard to believe that this is the best they can do. But then look at their last nominee. Maybe I'm wrong.

4. He'll have Phil Gramm call Americans "a bunch of whiners", |
|
then halfheartedly attempt to throw Gramm (R-Enron) under the Double Talk Express.
Oh, wait a minute, that just happened. D'oh!

6. I think he might lose his temper with a journalist |
|
He's doing a good job of controlling his temper at the moment. But someone needs to ask him whether Cindy's opiate addiction is under control. How can he be sure that she's not stealing drugs again from her charity? That is a subject that has really set him off in the past.
