"It's All Libby All The Time In Media" - CBS |
|
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/03/07/the_skinny/main2542139.shtml". . .a lengthy Washington saga that captured the media's attention -- and pretty much no one else's -- " Oh really? I wonder why they didn't say this last week about Anna Nichole, or Brittany Spears, or the diaper astronaut... or .... or ... or and NOW MSNBC is saying that "some" feel that Scooter is the victim of a witch hunt and "when will the President 'step in?'" Oh Brother

2. "The Skinny" -- who writes this snarky bullshit and why should we care |
|
This tiresome trend I am seeing amongst the networks (ABC The Note, CBS The Skinny) to snark like some sort of bloggette wonkette wannabe is truly vile and disgusting.
Who are they kidding?
But of course just my very humble opinion.

8. a girl who has been out of college for three years |
|
That's who is writing this. Her name is Hillary Profita. Her only prior experience is as a fact checker on Nightline, a "desk assistant" for ABC, and on her college newspaper. Amazing.
Hillary Profita (CBS) I came to "Public Eye" from ABC News' "Nightline," where I had been one of three researchers since September 2004. In addition to providing background research for Ted Koppel and the show's rotating group of anchors, I worked closely with "Nightline" producers and correspondents, and was responsible for all of the broadcast's factual content. During part of that period, I was also a researcher for "This Week with George Stephanopoulos." My career in journalism began in 2003 at ABC News' Washington bureau, where I was a desk assistant.
Prior to "Nightline," I was a copy editor and staff writer for online publications at the Advisory Board Company, a health care consulting firm in Washington, D.C. There, I contributed to National Journal's "American Health Line," among other daily publications related to health care policy news.
I attended Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., where I graduated in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in English and American studies. I was a staff writer and wrote a weekly column on national politics for the Cornell Daily Sun during my senior year.
I am originally from Tenafly, N.J., notable for its appearance in a brief scene during the recent film, "Garden State."

10. Easy to breezily dismiss the Libby case if you don't "get" how serious the Iraq War is! |
|
She needs to educate herself a little bit.

This story and the trial was riveting. And if one stinking reporter in the media had done half as good job as H2O Man in laying it all out, s/he would be on the very short list for a Pulitzer. The media wishes this would go away because it's embarrassing for them to be shown for the shills they have become.
They breathlessly reported the details of Ken Starr's every utterance and unethical leak as if it were gospel. :eyes:

libby and the rest of the fucking lying criminals in bush's administration and the incompetent noise makers on right wing hate radio are all witch's. They should feel hunted for their intentional lack of concern for the rule of law and total disregard for our constitution.
