With the courage of an infantryman?...And Tony Snow? |
|
I refuse to slam him in spite of his outright lies. I am a veteran but merely from the US.The courage of any infantry man demands you face the possibity of death every day and at a much younger age...Appearently a Fox spokesman said so...for reality, he died at 53 of cancer-let us not cheapen the experience of warriors to include cheerleaders...

1. It taxes humanity to not be nasty when people such as Snow and Helms pass on. |
|
I suppose it is human nature to finally identify all of us as flawed, and as people, and to recognize the good things and ignore the bad things. I will invoke the thumper clause from Bambi - if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything...(of course, that wasn't the way that they lived!).

I'm a good man. Consider the truth said, right here, right now.

3. Isn't it for good men to do nothing? How does slamming a dead person on DU thwart evil? |

How does death make a person good? I missed that part.
Other than being personable, what good did Snow accomplish? Talking about his legacy is off limits, so let his supporters explain why his life furthered humanitarian interests.
PS Expanding the wealth of the top 1/2 of 1% isn't exactly laudable.
