We know - everybody knows - yet nobody does anything? |
|
We know that the biggest threat to our nation is not the terrorists of the Middle East, but the "terrorists" within our own borders. In fact, the terrorists are within our government, most specifically in the White House in Washington, DC.
The Congress and Senate know as well as everyone else that our nation is at peril with each and every passing day this Administration is in power. Yet, they do nothing but talk and pass "non-binding" resolutions. The Vice-President has stated that they will ignore it.
Sadly, even those that profess to support George Bush 100% know in their hearts that we are headed for disaster. They cover up their fears with hope and right-wing propaganda. It's as if they are watching their house burn down and still are telling their neighbors how beautiful it looks in the morning light.
We all know nothing good is going to come from this Administration. A country of "Christians" is silly to think they can go into the world where there is over a billion "Muslims" and transform them into an American-style, capitalistic "democracy". It is the height of folly and ignorance.

1. Join us on the streets Saturday. |
|
Every person on the streets matters no matter how small your town is. Get out there for an hour with a no more war sign.
It's amazing how empowering this is. Most people are VERY postive.

the Supreme Court, among most of the MSM, and among tens of millions of the citizenry who still support and march in lockstep to the beat of their drummer. At the risk of again being scoffed at on the DU board, may I say if this Republic were to last another thousand years or more, men will still say these were our darkest days: for this Republic shan't survive much darker days without total fiscal and economic ruin much less what pre-emptive, never ending wars will bring.
