CLEVELAND (AP) -- Prosecutors in Ohio's most populous county have
accused a voting machine company of breach of contract, fraud and
negligence.

Premier Election Solutions Inc. last month asked a Franklin County
judge to rule that it had fulfilled its contracts with Cuyahoga
County.

County Prosecutor Bill Mason filed a response with the court late
Tuesday. He says in a statement that he intends to recover public
funds spent on a system that didn't work.

Allen, Texas-based Premier is part of North Canton-based Diebold Inc.

The county quit using Diebold voting machines after problems during
the November election. The touch-screen machines cost $22 million.

Here are two video clips (one by Fox News and one by CNN's Lou Dobbs)
showing how easy it is to hack Diebold TS machines in an undetectable
fashion:

1. I've always always always said the path to success is product liability lawsuits
Because that's the long and short of the issue.

7. Sort of.
Diebold separated their ATM division from the voting machine division, and PES is the new name for that unit, under different management. I guess they got tired of being asked why ATMs could function with virtually 100% accuracy and give printed receipts, but their voting machines constantly fail and cannot provide receipts.

11. Hey, NY, it's a lot cheaper and simpler NOT to buy these devil machines in the first place!
