The "surge" was a mere one tactic used by the US during this occupation... |
|
who is to say that its supposed termination will not result in renewed violence?
Oh, that's right. The media of course. The media who refuses to cover the lives of Iraqi's, the extreme stress on the american troops, and the costs to our treasury.

1. And even for all its vaunted alleged "effectiveness" |
|
The war in Iraq has still lasted longer than the U.S. involvement in World War II.

3. We had 140,000 troops there - it wasn't enough |
|
So we bumped it up to 175,000. Big fuckin deal. Anybody with half a brain would realize it still wasn't enough. It needed about 300,000 and there is no way in hell we were gonna commit that many people. What happened was that we fucking bribed the Sunni militias to cool it for awhile. That's right we paid these guys not to fight us so we could say we won a big military victory. When we quit paying them the shit will hit the fan.

My ass, surge. A surge comes from within. This was nothing but an escalation, only this so-called "administration" didn't want to use that word, so they (incorrectly) renamed it, and the lapdog media dutifully reported it as such.
It was an escalation, and it meant nothing except that more of our soldiers are over there.

8. Every year the win is 6-24 months away. It's been that way since 2003. |
|
And it will be that way in 2033.

9. Haven't you figured it out yet? |
|
The most plausible reason for the decline in violence in Iraq, is simply that there are fewer and fewer people to left to die. The country is cordoned of just as Joe Biden said it would be two years ago. The foreign fighters are not streaming into the country so much as they are heading back to Pakistan to regroup.

10. Indeed! We killed a million people, made millions of refugees.. |
|
Many Iraqis are dead, and many more have fled.
The war-chimp has perpetrated genocide on occupied Iraq.
The success of the so-called "surge" is just another BFEE hoax. (like the rest of the government).
A giant hoax!
