Sen Dianne Feinstein's Husband Top Iraq War Profiteer
http://www.businesspundit.com/the-25-most-vicious-iraq-war-profiteers/

Perini (controlled by financier Richard Blum) is one of the more controversial companies to have scored big-time Iraq war money. That’s because Blum’s wife, Senator Dianne Feinstein, appears to have used her seat on the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee to steer the $650 million environmental cleanup deal in his favor. This has lead to outrage and cries for conflict of interest investigations among those in the media, as well as Feinstein’s peers in Congress. Feinstein has also neglected to comment on this potential conflict of interest. This has lead to what Metroactive.com calls an “omission has called her ethical standards into question.”

2. Well there is a reason for taking impeachment off the table now isn't there
and it sure isn't for shits and grins either. We find ourselves with a majority of our congress critters as liars and thieves, just amazing that.

21. Corruption is full-time family affair....
It's just amazing. I thought nepotism was bad at my county court house? (Every Aunt-Uncle-Brother and Sister is sucking of the county tax tit at $20 and hour with full benefits). But Washington outdoes them all. Sen Mitch McConnell's wife, Elaine Chao, is Dept of Labor... she is always on Faux-TV shilling for Bush. Sen Phil Gramm's wife is head of the Commodity Future Trading Commission.(It's hard work rubber stamping all those dividend checks into their Swiss Bank Account) And Elizabeth Dole has had her hand in everything from the drug companies to the Red Cross... for years now. I wonder how many other husband/Wife teams we have in Govt that have their own little "enterprises" going on the side?

4. While few Californians will admit to ever having voted for DiFi...
...what she is accused of is run-of-the-mill corruption.

Not excusable, and deserving of an investigation at the very least, but simple corruption nonetheless.

However, it is light years away from what the GOP has done.

6. No, it's exactly what they have done. She did it with them.
This is a person that built her career on the murders of Milk and Moscone. And, that's just how she started out.

This is a person who ignored hundreds of thousands of us begging her not to vote for the IWR. What's your constituency when you've got contracts in play.

There's no difference whatsoever.

8. We'll just have to disagree then.
Although her career tracks closely to every GOPher, the "get a contract for your spouse" is vastly different than the calculated crap the GOP has pulled on this country the since Reagan's Contract on America.

The GOP Party machine is vastly different that what Dean has created for the Democratic Party.

DiFi's corruption pales in comparison.

22. You're missing the point...
This keeps our congress people from doing their jobs (like proceeding with impeachment hearings and the like) because they can be blackmailed/coerced. THAT is the problem! She is just as culpable as the GOP.

DiFi is one person; the GOP is a bast network of sleeper cells awaiting orders to do their Party's bidding.

16. DiFi's P.R. troupe does a VERY good job of subterfuge...
...but the facts remain. DiFi has not had the priorities of the citizens of California nor the United States front and center for a long time. Look up Military-Industrial Complex tool in the dictionary. You WILL see DiFi's plaster face.

and for her to have accepted, let alone used a subcommittee seat that could potentially put her in a conflict of interest situation (as it obviously has) shows that she never did.
