Holy Acrimony... is it me, or is Scarborough drunk?
Seriously... he's barely coherent right now.

Anyone else see this?

2. He's always like that; constantly trying to put Obama down, but
it seems he's running out of material. Doesn't seem to stop his unending b.s. though.

3. It's hard to imagine what kind of person admires a guy like that...
He is obviously jealous, petty and stupid.

4. I've stopped watching the show, finally.
But I always welcome threads that discuss how he constantly has a bug up his ass each morning. What are his rants du jour?

5. not drunk, just grossly mischaracterizing the entire 'awakening/surge' imbroglio.
saying, basically, that it doesn't MATTER that the awakening occurred a few months before the surge, while ignoring the fact that McCain talked out of both sides of his mouth, using the Awakening to justify the surge, then using the surge to justify the awakening

all that matters to them is that the surge is now 'working'

by which they seem to mean only as a reduction in US casualties

one of the most meritricious 'discussions' I've ever seen

7. I'm listening
He's beens particularly pissy lately. You should have heard him yesterday.

I guess the new talking point (per Mike Murphy) is the * hubris * of Obama?

I actually think he's just the opposite, and we all know, there's been plenty he could be boastful about. That's just not his style. He doesn't get personal and he stays above the fray and petty BS.

9. The way they do it ... As Wes Clark noted ...
1) take things out of context ...
2) Distort them ...
3) Make it into a personal attack ...

BO just simply has "IT" in a good way ... Just the way the freaks do it, to spin a positive into a negative and call it "hubris" ... Like, if he was anything less than perfect, they would be killing him for it ...

12. Yes, I saw Wes Clark say that yesterday, but
for it to work, it seems like there should be a kernal of truth in the claim. In this case, there's no kernal and so this is unbelieveable... and a poor choice of something to distort.

But that's just me...

:hi:

19. Well, GOP wrote the book on 'hubris,'
Look at the last 8 years...

But I've noticed that everything they're throwing at Obama
could have been said about Geo.W. for the last 8 years...

He's inexperienced... but Bush was more than that, he was an abysmal
failure at his administrative experience prior to his election.
When they say Obama has virtually no experience, remember
Abraham Lincoln had less legislative experience than Obama.

That he's young... but Bush was more than young, he was green.
But remember Bush's 'frat boy' demeanor.. and then observe
Obama's respectful silence at the Holocaust remembrance..

That he has no foreign experience... but look at Bush.
Had he even been outside the country before elected?

That he's arrogant... but compare Bush strutting on that
aircraft carrier... They said Obama didn't look presidential,
but when he does, they fling 'hubris' at him.

And then they defer to a quaking old man trying to engage
people in a supermarket, who doesn't know the diff between
sunni's and shi'ites, who doesn't know world geography,
who fails to see the importance of women's rights... among
a few of his gaffs....

They are in deep trouble, and are busy throwing things
to the wall to see what sticks....

10. Scared...scared shitless
As things go well for Obama the more the cons are gonna whine and lash out. Scarborough is illustrating this on TV, so as nausating as he is, in a way you just gotta laugh at him because is SCARED!

11. I can't stand the guy
and have written several times to the show asking them to dump him.
So...I was pleasantly shocked to see the show air a skit talking about the sales of Obama merchandise selling 4 to 1 over McCain's..except in one category. The sales of McClappers and McDiapers were brisk!
Then later they showed McCombover in a grocery store and were MOCKING him. They wondered what conversation he could possibly be having with the shoppers and suggested he said, "Is bread still a nickel?" "Hey, did ya hear about Lindberg?"

(fingers crossed, but I think she'll get one) on MSNBC will show his up for the revenue sink that it really is.

That, and Joe Scabby is just an unpleasant, petty little man.

15. If You Saw His Ratings, You'd Be Drinking, Too
http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/morning_cable_ratings/morning_cable_ratings_monday_july_21_89910.asp

Morning Cable Ratings: Monday, July 21
Show (6-9amET) Network A25-54 Total Viewers
Fox & Friends FNC 224,000 782,000
American Morning CNN 165,000 463,000
Morning Express HLN 101,000 217,000
Squawk Box CNBC 87,000 209,000
Morning Joe MSNBC 77,000 255,000

For years M$NBC had their best ratings in the morning with Anus...Mourning Joe is barely on the radar. Now that Phil Griffin is in control, I'd imagine this show is gonna get a lot of his attention in the near future.

16. More mocking of McCain
Showing the grocery store footage again and Scarborough says it looks like the woman is helping Gramps do his shopping and taking things out of the cart saying, "Here Grandpa, not that one, THIS one." And Gramps says, "Did I ever show you the penny trick?"
