Yeah, I would have liked to see him impeached. Yes, he's a war criminal who should be prosecuted, but damn it will be good to see him and his vile crew vacate the seat of power. I'll cheer when I see the moving trucks pull away from the White House.

Eight fucking very long years of that idiot.

I can't wait to see him scurry away.

3. If some national emergency arose, junior might just get his second trifecta for martial law,
suspension of national elections, and dictatorship for life might just be in the offing. This is not original thought folks, for a Cheney-led group has already floated the dictatorship for life mantra, the extreme militancy toward Iran is being steadily ratched up, and the ruling junta might find it unwise to travel in many other parts of the world. :grr: :scared: :P

4. what nonsense.
it couldn't be clearer that junior wants out- badly. I would bet my life that martial law is not declared and that no matter what, elections will occur in November.

16. Good to see someone getting what's going on...
Nice work, indepat...

Don't think I support Martial/Blackwater Law either -- I'll be either one of the first they shoot or send to internment camps.

11. You're right that thinking they won't leave isn't an "original thought' -- neither is believing the
earth is flat.

12. No way..
I've never seen a president more ready to vacate the office. He's history now, his usefulness is completely gone.

Cheney and his ilk will play puppet master from the outside as long as he's alive, you can bet on that. We have to make sure they never get their foot back in the door again though.

5. And this will be the longest 6 months any of us has ever lived
with the way things are I doubt that he will just walk away as walking away he loses his control and its his and their power that keeps them from doing the frog march tango. I can't see how he can just walk away unless they have ace mcNuts pResidency all sewed up. I worry about what can happen in these last few months.

18. All that has been done and put in place certainly were not just for an eight years' run
so if surrogate ace mcNuts fails in his bid for the pResidency, I shudder to think what might follow. :D

10. damn straight I'm assuming that bush and cheney will go
I think it's the dumbest of doomsday conspiracy theories to believe that bush/cheney will successfully engineer some diabolical plot. I don't think they even want to stay in power- at all. And even if they did, it's simply childish to think they could do it.
