3. Can you imagine Bush getting that kind of reception???
Silly question. Bush would have to bus in "supporters" and still wouldn't get that kind of reception.

12. Shows that the world wants rid of the Repukes and Neocons.
I only hope that Americans are smart enough to elect a President who can truly lead, and not the same old tired Repukes.

If they came from all over Europe to see him.

And if it is mostly European citizens that can't vote in November they can't help him get elected.

15. Wasn't it Germany that they told people not to look at him and
to make sure their blinds were closed and they didn't come out on their balconies?

Maybe it was a different country, but I thought it was Germany.

They welded the manholes shut, disrupted daily lives, commerce AND *dauphin REFUSED to engage citizens at the Town Hall because the "screening" was not to his liking. It was AWFUL!

Very good to se an american who are been given the welcome, and not the middle index finger as mr Bush maybe have been given..

And he looks state man like, not like the current clown you have in the White House, who even on his best days are looking as one grown up child when he tried to smile to a crowd..

He looks like a President, Ombama that is. And i just Pray that enough americans are voting for the right gay this time. I would be so disappointed behind any word if enough american vote again for a man who want to do the same as mr Bush have been doing for 8 year.. One Bush are more than most can stand.. McCain in the WHITE HOUSE.. Then I would build that bunker in the back jard I promised for 4 year ago if mr Bush was elected.. I guess I owe some a bunker then.. :evilfrown:

Or a least a retreat in the woods.. I know many places where you can hide in the outbreak of a war.. Food, water and other necessarily, and you can camp out for a long time... Many of them can easy be defended to, if nessesary..

20. Your sentiments are appreciated.
I hope you understand that Bush was never elected. He was appointed by the Supreme Court in 2000, and clearly had fewer votes. In 2004, he stole the election electronically in Ohio.
BTW, your English is way better than my French or whatever your native language is.

23. in search of sanity
in search of sanity

I do understand that the "election" of mr Bush was not as right at it should be, in 2000 as in 2004. It was to much irregularity about the whole proses to be that right... Rather it was like in a 3 world country where the election is rigged from the start, and where everyone "know" who the next president should be. And the whole media in US was into it too. The whole country must take a soul shearting after mr Bush, to se what was going that wrong. The whole tree circus lane show in 2000 was just stupid. I was going to sleep with the believing that mr Gore was the next president.. And wake up to the nightmare that was mr Bush. And many of my fellow folks both here I live, and other places have feeled the same. Mr Bush have NOT be a good thing to USA... Rather a dark evil nightmare...

Thank you, my native language are not french, but Norwegian. A little country in the north of Europe.

Thank you, when you have english from 3 grade you pick up the language somehow. And I was never a clever student when it come to english;). Today they start at 1 grade to learn english (amazing if you ask me)

And I would guess you are not that good in Norwegian, but I do know that many american can speak the Norwegian language. Specially in the states where the Norwegian emigrated to between 1840 and 1920s.. More than 800,000 Norwegian emigrated in that time line.. 1/3 of Norwegian emigrated... So in the northern states where many american emigrated, the Norwegian language was intact to after the first world war. Today not many Norwegian-american can the language of their forefathers. But some learn it at school still;)
