never panned toward the Gate and stayed in tight on the crowd? There were hundreds of thousands and all they showed is a shot that took in only a few hundred.

39. And Andrea Mitchell came on an hour later and repeated it
stating again that it was a speech McCain could have made. I'm not sure exactly what she was implying, perhaps that it was non-controversial, but since when is McCain the standard of reasonableness and patriotism? She prefaced her remarks by describing the speech as "lofty rhetoric". And even if she didn't actually mean that John McCain could have delivered it with the same elan, her way of putting it had me rolling on the floor.

30. Thanks for the laugh
And I'm laughing at myself because I'm no spring chicken.

I keep thinking of John Kennedy's speech about passing the torch to a younger generation. That's what is happening with Obama. I am not young, but I will do all I can to make Obama's dream--the American dream--stay alive.

This is what Martin Luther King sacrificed his life for.
