3. You are just an apologist for Castro |

Nothing is good in Cuba. Their healthcare isn't better. Their higher education isn't better. Their hurricane preparedness isn't better... Oh wait--it is?

4. Cuba has some beautiful people... |
|
..but I doubt many of us would actually want to live there under the current situation.

5. I have no doubts that people that live here that have good jobs, |
|
good insurance, money to pay for their children's education and suitable living condition would not be happy in Cuba. But after you subtract that particular 40% of the population, I would really wonder what the other 60% who have none of those things if they might not disagree with you.

6. Living in Cuba might be an upgrade for some, but... |
|
...I'd think you'd have a tough case with the other 60%, too.

If the only other choices were Haiti, Saudi Arabia, and Turkmenistan, I'd choose Cuba in a heartbeat.
Heck, it probably beats Russia too. And some parts of Brazil. And of the USA.

8. I think the US would win the tiebraker... |
|
If you don't have anything in here, you're not going to get much more by moving to Cuba. The system of government here versus there would probably push the US over the top.
