1. Actually, there was a civil war in Germany that ran through most of |
|
the 20s. Gun battles on the streets between communists and nazis, the government and nazis, the government and communists, communists and socialists, Unionists and Freicorps.
Nothing on the scale of the Russian Revolution, but pervasive violence in all parts of the country from about 1919 - 1927.

6. Loans from the US, and a bettering economy. |
|
Hitler saw his fortunes rise and fall in direct contrast to the state of the German economy during this period, the worse things got, the better he did.

3. No revolution -but lots of violence & a terrible economy, and many people who were fed up with it. |
|
..which was a situation ripe for exploitation.

5. The German Civil War ran from 1919-1922, |
|
And flared up again from 1929-1933.
The main combatants were demobilized WWI soldiers, known as Freikorps (Free Corps). They were mobilized by the Weimar Government against Communist uprisings in Berlin, Bavaria, etc. The Freikorps were ultra-right wing, and turned against the Government, trying to overthrow it at least twice in the years 1920-22, once during Hitler's Beer Hall Putsch.
The fighting was real, thousands were killed and injured in terror and political murder, including Matthais Erzburger, who signed the Armistice that ended the First World War, and Walther Rathenau, a Jewish politician, who had kept the German Economy running during the War.

10. No, the difference lies in the nature of the combatants |
|
In Germany, both attackers and attacked were Germans. The fighters considered themselves in a state of war with their government. This was not a single attack, but numerous battles and skirmishes, between organized military and paramilitary units. This was combined with political murders. Attempting to make the comparison between interwar Germany and 9/11 is probably impossible.

7. The Russian Revolution started in 1905- but failed |
|
But it must be taken into consideration when looking at the 1917 revolution
