2. Yep. That's it. No one suggested McCheese was "presumptuous" or "arrogant" |
for visiting world leaders (the same ones!) as candidate. No one suggests he's elitist for owning nine homes.

6. Yup... how is calling people in financial distress "whiners" not arrogant / snobby? |
Did McShame ever even comment on that? Let alone denounce it?

11. No... former top advisor Phil Gramm did... |
and after looking, I found that McShame said he strongly disagreed (with the arrogant, elitist snob that he hired as one of his most trusted advisors).

7. I think all those descriptions of Obama are aimed at the LIV |
Low information voters are both stupid and ignorant, and they resent people who are smarter or more educated. But a lot of them vote, as evidenced by Bush's "wins" The "uppity" has racial overtones, you won't see it used by the GOP because it's too obvious, but all the others are in play. Same advertising technique is being used by McDonald's for their espresso, as if it's the atmosphere at Starbuck's that is elitist, not the drink.

I love that it indicates that there's an unspoken agreement about what's not supposed to be said in so many words... or at least not out loud, in public.
