on a real need or issue.

25. Yes, focused on a true "Christian" ideal
Instead of perpetuating hate and turmoil.

4. Be careful what you ask for...
...rain in Colorado in August is often accompanied by lightning -- which just might miss the stadium and strike somewhere else nearby, if you receive my drift...

7. Isn't that witchcraft? A curse is a curse. Frauds.
We should get millions of people to gather on corners all over the country at the same time and pray that Gawd strikes all the "christians" dead because they are evil and ruining the world.

See how they like it.

10. is rain bad?

My very religious grandparents always looked at rain with reverence because it was 'the lords work'. Whatever weather comes our way they would reason is just 'his work' and there is no agenda in that weather.

11. Rain would be most appreciated.
We've been going through a bad drought this summer. No one would mind a rainstorm - in fact, I think the mood would be quite lifted.

Wireless mics don't shock like the ungrounded PA amps and directly connected mics of Woodstock. It would be perfectly safe.

So, let it rain, let it rain, let it rain. :hi:

24. I Am Sure They Will All be Quoting
Edited on Fri Aug-01-08 01:52 PM by ribofunk
the fifth chapter of the Epistle of James:

17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Whether it will work remains to be seen. Personally, I like the image of accepting the nomination in the storm. It will highlight the euphoria and there will lots of great shots of people sliding around in the mosh pit.

28. I will pray with them. "Let it pour down torrents of rain
and after the rains cease, may thou sendeth down a vibrant rainbow upon Obama
which shall light his way and follow him as he riseth to take center stage.

Thank you...thank you very much.

29. If they would like to tempt fate
and combine bad weather, Colorado in the summer, rabid fans, and a "rock star," then let 'em go nuts. That's worked out pretty well in the past:
